WIP meme and shootings

saffire_persian. I'll say this: a couple of the sentences are from the last chapters of Nothing, Everything (no spoilers, though ;) ). The others, though, I won't say. :P Quite a few are from one shots I hadn't posted yet, though.
Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence!
1. The climax of the dream was of the demon nine tailed fox, but in cloak form, and after the fox roared, he leapt up, claws ready and teeth clenching—ready for the kill.
2. He was cradling it like as if it was his own child.
3. Instead of the little girl smiling and anticipating that event to come, the young lady frowned, already experienced it.
4.More people got drowned, more buildings got destroyed, more shards of rain fell on the ground, more screams.
5. Eventually they’ll stop getting badges and both Duku and Destiny will battle against each other until one dies, and the other one will be all emo.
6. The chief still bit his lip and not answering a question yet.

So glad that Patty (burnt_flower) is all right. I remember when the Virgina Tech shootings came, my university really made a big deal out of it. News of big shootings scare the heck out of me sometimes.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but I kinda find it ironic as not too long ago the latest NE chapter has a shooting scene in it. O.o
