bay_alexisonDay 11: Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing or trope. Try creating a different kind of fanwork. Or check out some types of fanworks that are new to you.

hs_worldcup to see any Homestuck entries I haven't read yet to check out some pairings. I decided on Equius/Dirk.
There is one Equius/Dirk visual novel, which is about how Equius accidentally killed Dirk and must bring four of Dirk's "souls" together to bring him back alive. I quite like it and thought the team did the concept of Dirk's many selves well. Visual novels isn't a new thing in the Homestuck fandom , but they're a fun medium nonethless. I then read another Equius/Dirk fic from the team, this time in a very bleak sci-fi setting where they get to know one another (pretty good though has an abrupt end due to the challenge's word limit restriction). So yeah, spend some time today checking out Equius/Dirk fanworks, lol.
