Some ramblings and stuff I found

bay_alexisonQuick post after midnight that isn't about one of my fanworks? First some writing ramblings.
For a while I kept thinking if I'm the right person to write Chasing the Desert because of the many heavy concepts and technical stuff (politics and military, yo) that needs mentioning. Reason why is I'm not that much knowledgeable with politics and my background is business. I remember taking a political class on fiscal policy in my last quarter of university; the course counts as one of three extra business classes required for my Business Administration degree. I thought the class will be fun since I have some finance/economics knowledge. Long story short, HARDEST CLASS I TOOK IN MY UNIVERSITY CAREER. ;_;
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy writing the story a lot, but it took several rewrites to get the story at least half-decent. I know a few of you mentioned not wanting to undertake something that's politically heavy and I can see why, haha. Anyways, can't help but thinking if someone else does it they'll do it much better and get more comments than me, bleh.
Yeah, a bit of writing frustrations there and very silly to be upset, but need to get this off from my chest. I STILL plan to get the last three chapters of Chasing the Desert posted, Chapter Seven most likely in mid August and Chapters Eight and Nine/epilogue (still unsure what I'll call the last part) in September. I need to or else I won't be able to participate in next round of Big Bang. .__. And before you ask, my betas are still in deck to look through the story so yup.
Okay, enough of my whining. Here, a couple stuff I found on Tumblr.
Have this reblogged from my Tumblr (art made by fmacity), but I want to share this with my FMA friends. LOL I'm quite tempted to doing a sequel to The Way You Look Tonight base on that pic, but not sure how I'll go by that. That and writing Riza in a suit once is enough for me, haha. Damn me keep getting inspired by fanart.
Usually I don't watch fanmade music videos (for some reason), but oh man someone used the Homestuck flashes up to end of Act 5 and have Florence + the Machine's Bedroom Hymns as the background music. Needless to say, I'm amazed. WATCH IT NOW.
