Okay, decided to finish the rest of the 30 Day Fanfic Meme right now for a few reasons:

*The others have done that
*I want to get this over with and it seems much better if you guys see the answers in one go instead of posting the answers day by day
*I have plans of doing fanfic, anime, and to do list posts in the next few days and I don't want to clutter my friends list with two/three posts a day
*Want to focus on my writings soon, so I'm getting this out of the way

With that said, enjoy my answers to the rest of this meme. XD For those that missed the first three days, I linked them here.

Past Days
1 - How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
3 - For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?

Days 4-30
4 – Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?

For Pokemon fandom, my original character Jacob Alexison from Nothing, Everything. He became my muse because he loves to steal the spotlight. Now, if only he would stop telling me to write the sequel of NE. ._.

For FMA…*glares at Roy* Don’t know how many times he comes to me and tells me how to do this scene and such.

5 –If you have ever had a character try to push their way into a fic, whether your "muse" or not, what did you do about it?

Simple: I let them barge in because they won’t get stop nagging about wanting to be in a fic until I do so, haha.

6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?

No preference whatsoever as I’m cool with writing both. I seem to have much more fun writing/creating male characters though for some reason. @_@

7 – Have you ever had a fic change your opinion of a character?

I guess you can say Nothing, Everything has changed my opinion of Officer Jenny. I use to be meh over her when watching the anime because there are SO MANY of them, but then I fell in love with the Officer Jenny in my fic as I wrote further into the story.

In terms of reading other people’s fics, though, more times than I can keep track of. XD;

8 – Do you write OCs? And if so, what do you do to make certain they're not Mary Sues, and if not, explain your thoughts on OCs.
A lot for Pokemon fandom, yes. How I don’t make them Sues is pretty much have the OC ‘s interaction with other characters be as realistic as possible. I love OCs in the Pokemon fandom and I’m cool with them in FMA stories because it’s interesting how other people interact with the main canon characters.

9 – Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?

Only FMA I have wrote the pairings, haha. But yeah, for those keeping up with my stories I wrote a whole bunch of Roy/Riza, some gen while others are on the romantic side. You know how I mention Roy keeps nagging me over how to execute some scenes? Well, Riza barges in too and does the same. In fact, both of them would come together sometimes and bother me. Guys, will you quit disturbing me at work, please? :O

ANYWAYS, besides Roy/Riza, I have done Ed/Winry and Ling/Lan Fan and I enjoyed writing those two pairings a lot too.

10 – Pairings – Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn't write, or a pairing you didn't like, and found you could?

I don’t think I faced that kind of problem since I’ll write the pairing I like/have plot bunnies for. However, I admit when I did my [livejournal.com profile] fma_slashfest fic Snowed In, at first I thought Riza/Briggs Doctor is a cute pairing (hence why I want to try out that prompt), but then after finishing the story I grew to really like the pairing as much as I love Ed/Ling, haha. Roy/Riza is still my OTP, though. :x

11 – Genre – do you prefer certain genres of fic when you're writing? What kind do you tend to write most?
I’m cool with writing any genre, though Romance is something I try to avoid, LOL. Most of the time it’s general/drama stuff.

12 – Have you ever attempted an "adaptation" fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?

Oh man, ALL THE DANG TIME. Let’s see, my first fic Heart of the Sea is an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s Old Man and the Sea. There’s then Nothing, Everything, which is based loosely off of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.. After that, my FMA Big Bang fic Down the Road is an adaptation of sorts of William Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying. I’m pretty sure another long fic will be an adaptation of something, LOL.

13 – Do you prefer canon or fanon when you write? Has writing fanfic for a fandom changed the way you see some or even all of the original source material?
I prefer canon as I try to stay as close to the source material as possible. Many times though there are some fanfics that made me rethink how the original source material was presented.

14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?
I have written up to NC-17, but let’s forget about the NC-17 one I posted back in February, m’kay? >.<; So many silly, silly mistakes that I should fix but too lazyyyyyyy to do so. But yeah, I was shocked that I’m brave enough to now write R/NC-17 stories somewhat now since I’m used to writing G to PG-13 stories a lot, LOL.

15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?
Depends on the nature of the story, pretty much. If there’s something you know in your fic that’ll upset some readers, warn about it. As for what’s the strangest thing I have warned for in a fic, hm nothing too controversial I don’t think.

16 – Summaries – Do you like them or hate them? How do you come up with them, if you use them?
Some summaries are easier to come up with than others. The harder ones I tend to rewrite the summaries a couple times until I’m satisfied with them! D: I try my best to have summaries short, sweet, and to the point.

17 – Titles – Are they the bane of your existence, or the easiest part of the fic? Also, if you do chaptered fic, do you give each chapter a title, or not?
Like my answer to Day 16, some titles I’m able to come up quickly while others were harder to think up. For chaptered fic, so far I have been giving each chapter a title, although my next [livejournal.com profile] fmabigbang fic I’m considering not giving chapter titles…unless I suddenly thought of a theme. -_-

18 – Where do you get the most inspiration for your fics (aka "bunnies") from?
They tend to strike at unlikely places like at work (*glares at Roy and Riza*), but also whenever I’m watching a movie/tv show or reading something.

19 – When you have bunnies, do you sit down and start writing right away, or do you write down the idea for further use?
A little of both. If I’m too busy with something at the moment, I’ll write the idea down in my notebook or in some sort of scrap paper (and keep it XD ). If that idea is suddenly telling me that I should WRITE WRITE WRITE, then I’ll bite.

20 –Do you ever get bunnied from other people's stories or art in the same fandom?
Loads of times, yes. I would read someone’s fic, love it, then make my own spin to the idea.

21 – Sequels – Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
I have written a couple. My Pokemon Simplicity is a sequel toTake Fifty Five! because I thought of a plot bunny after the 4th gen Pokemon were revealed. For FMA, Glimpse of Parenthood (ack, need to post that story in my journal soon >.< ) is a sequel to Not Enough Time because I suddenly thought of that idea while away with family.

I’m cool with sequels as long as the plot isn’t dragging too long, pretty much.

22 – Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?

Yes, the [livejournal.com profile] fmabigbang last year. The third round of it is going on now and I had signed up for it recently. When doing Down the Road last year, my favorite part of it is really get into writing some of my favorite scenes without stopping. Also, it was fun talking with [livejournal.com profile] seta_suzume over her art stuff. Hopefully for my next Big Bang Chasing the Desert (yay, thought of a title already) I’ll feel the same way.

I also participated in a few fests. The ones I’m involved in now are [livejournal.com profile] springkink, [livejournal.com profile] fma_slashfestand [livejournal.com profile] fma_ladyfest and those have been fun so far.

23 – When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?
For my Pokemon fics I would post at several forums, but almost all of them will be at Serebii forums. I have posted my newer ones in my journal, FFnet, and Archive of Our Own too. For FMA I posted most of them in my journal and a few I posted at FFnet and Archive of our Own.

24 – Betaing – How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren't any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?
[livejournal.com profile] bobnbill, [livejournal.com profile] enigma_shadow1, [livejournal.com profile] nekusagi, and Elite Overlord LeSabre from Pokecommunity are my main betas for Pokemon while [livejournal.com profile] lalikaa, [livejournal.com profile] alchemyotaku75, and [livejournal.com profile] seatbeltdrivein are my main betas for FMA and they’re wonderful betas. My stories would be a million times worse without them, haha. I tend to just have one or two betas look over my works for any flaws, although a couple times I had three people look over it if it’s for a major contest/challenge.

25 – Music – Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?

25 – Music – Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?
Like studying, I tend to need noise in general so that I don’t dooze off. D: Just something to keep my mind stimulating when writing.

26 – What is the oddest (or funnest) thing you've had to research for a fic?
I think the oddest thing I had to research is the different types of tea for one of my fma slashfest fics. One scene I was having Riza and the Briggs Doctor going to drink tea and then all the sudden I was like, “What kind of tea they’re driking? D:”. Gosh dang it, why my mind didn’t tell me, “How would blind people react to certain situations?” when writing Like a Radio Drama? O.o;

27 – Where is your favorite place to write, and do you write by hand or on the computer?
Back when I had a laptop, I would write in the living room because back then there was an old desktop computer in my room that I don’t use much. After switching my laptop for the family desktop (my dad wanted to use the laptop at his workplace) and getting rid of the old desktop computer, I would always write in my room.

28 – Have you ever collaborated with anyone else, whether writing together, or having an artist work on a piece about your fic?
In terms of writing, I have but they’re more for special events or short challenges, so nothing too big. In terms of an artist working on a piece of mine. Seta did some art for Down the Road while [livejournal.com profile] nekusagi did some nice character art for Nothing, Everything.

29 – What is your current project or projects?

For now I have two big ones. My first one is the FMA Big Bang fic Chasing the Desert and the next one is my [livejournal.com profile] help_japan one which is tentatively titled 1:10 to Central (I’ll get to it…eventually D: ). There’s also still one more [livejournal.com profile] fma_slashfest I need to do (Havoc/Ling), but unsure if I’ll get to it do to unsure how to get the prompt started and need to sort some real life stuff out. There’s also the Riza/Briggs Doctor slashfest fic Snowed In and my yet unnamed ladyfest fic, but both I had send to my betas so I’m waiting on them to finish looking over the stories.

30 – Do you have a favorite fic you've written? What makes it your favorite? And don't forget to give us a link!
Nothing, Everything hands down is my favorite Pokemon fic since that’s the longest story I have ever done. As for FMA, not really sure since there are quite a few I’m proud of and not sure which should I should choose, haha.
