I might get killed for this

Is anyone else tired of the "Is Isshu based around New York or Shanghai" debate?

What does it matter which city it's based on? By and by it's a whole new region with its own culture. O.o

Plus, is it really a stretch to believe it's a combination of both? (Not been in any of these debates, obviously). XD

I actually think it could be a combination of both too. But of course, the debaters would say it's either/or. :/

*raises hand*

Personally, I still feel as if Isshu is based on America as a whole. But the debate is just getting silly at this point. There's evidence for both sides. No reason for either side to insult one another, with cries of "ignorant", "stuck-up", and other fun words.

Either way, it's really not going to make a difference when the game actually comes out.

idk. It's the Pokemon fandom. We can argue about anything.

Exactly. Again, I don't care really where the region is based at. What I care about is the interesting things I can do at that region.

One thing I find funny is everyone is basing which country Isshu is based on by just one city. If there are more cities known, I can understand I guess, but I think it's too soon to do a debate of this sort when just one city is known.
